We also know that the bread aisle is crowded with many brands and varieties. So, we have made some improvements to help you find us fast. Coming soon, look for the big, bold band of our signature Panera green on our new bags. And, unlike many other brands, we’ve made it easier to find your favorite texture: Smooth, Grainy, and Extra Grainy. You’ll see the texture clearly called out on each package.

What’s in and what’s out – make every slice count

“At Panera, we bake our breads without artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors or colors because we think that makes for the best, tastiest bread,” says Sara Burnett, Panera’s VP of Wellness and Food Policy. That means, only good, wholesome ingredients go into our loaves. And as a leader in the better-for-you bread movement, most of our Sliced Breads are made with nutrient-rich whole grains. So, you know that each slice helps you feel good about your choice and brings out the best of whatever you put on your toast or in your sandwich.

Starting in April, you’ll see the new packages for our seven varieties in the bread aisle where you shop for groceries in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
