Cheesy Scallion Cornbread

Add cheesy goodness to your meal with our Parmesan cheese crisps baked right into this delightful cornbread recipe for a twist on the classic side dish.


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar and mix until well-combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs, milk, and butter and add to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix gently until there are no visible dry spots.
  4. Fold in cheese crisps and scallions.
  5. Spread batter into a greased 9-inch cast iron pan or a 9” x 13” baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
